DR. WAYNE INTRODUCES
DR. ROSTAM TO THE PRACTICE

Read Wayne’s Introduction Letter here

Over the last two years many of you have asked when I was planning to retire.  After thirty two rewarding years I have decided it is time to begin a slow transition into retirement.  I feel very privileged to have been entrusted with your dental care over all these years and I am especially humbled when, for many of you, we are now seeing third and fourth generation family members.

I have been searching very hard for the right person to step in and continue with the friendly, professional, and trusting relationship that we have developed over the years. I believe I have found that person. Many of you may have met him already as he has spent countless hours in the practice trying to meet as many of you as he could. If you have not met him already, I would like to introduce you to Dr. Rostam, (Ross), Shahriary.  Rostam has thirteen years of dental experience and recently completed two years training at the University of British Columbia. He is an accomplished implant surgeon and will bring a whole new dimension to our practice.   Ross’ passion for constant learning will ensure that our practice will always provide you with the latest techniques, options and excellence in care. Even more important to me is that Ross and I share similar values and a deep sense of responsibility towards our patients.

This sense of trust and responsibility was instilled in Ross at a young age as he grew up in his Father’s dental practice and later followed in his footsteps to take over his patients.  When he spoke about his experiences, it reminded me a lot of our practice and the sense of loyalty we have built together over my career here.  It is so important to me to continue our tradition of earning your trust, exceeding your expectations, and making you feel like family.  Ross’ unique blend of skillsets and values will be a natural fit.   He has shown that he has exceptional skills and patience with kids and genuinely enjoys treating the little ones. All of these attributes give me peace of mind and make me excited about the future of our practice.

I want you to know that all our excellent staff will be here as always and that I will be present as an associate for at least one year to ensure that the transition goes as smoothly as possible. Both Rostam and I want to ensure that all of your dental needs are dealt with in the same professional, timely and caring manner as always.

Sincerely,

Dr. Wayne Elkerton
